Launched in 1968, BMW made it's move into the luxury car market with the 'New Six' E3.

Available as a 2500, 2800, 3.0 or the range topping 3.3 LiA

 

Illustrated here as the 2500 with front headrests only, or the 3.0 and above models with the additional rear headrests.

In 1968, Scaffold topped the charts with 'Lily the pink' along with Mary Hopkin's 'Those were the days'.
