Cortina Mk2 1600E
October 1967. You’ve just filled the petrol tank for 6s 5d, picked up the Daily Mail for 4d, and maybe grabbed some Stork margarine from Fine Fare for 1s 6d. All while your Cortina 1600E gleams proudly outside, looking like a company car upgrade and a style statement in one.
With wood veneer, Rostyle wheels, and a bit of swagger, the 1600E was Ford’s idea of a sporty executive saloon — and it worked.
Captured here in five different colours, this artwork celebrates one of Ford’s most popular family saloons in 1600E guise.
To make the print extra special, you can have it personalised with your registration number at no extra charge.
