Triumph 2500 S Mk2
The Triumph 2000 Mk2 was launched in October 1969. 'Sugar, Sugar' by the Archies was number one in the charts.
The average house price was £4,312 and only one in five households had a phone.
If you were working on your home a pack of wallpaper paste would cost you 2/10 and a 6' 6" extending ladder would set you back £13 6/4.
This illustration captures the Triumph 2500 S version, illustrated with a contrasting background.
